Absolute Energy Takes on the Mowsworth Rampage to Support Local Charities

Absolute Energy, has always supported great community causes and initiatives, and this October, we are doing just that—by riding ride-on lawnmowers 86km through the Molesworth Station to Hanmer Springs for the Mowsworth Rampage! This event is all about raising awareness and funds for two incredibly important local charities, the Cancer Society and the Nelson Tasman Hospice.

What is the Mowsworth Rampage you ask?

The Mowsworth Rampage is a endurance event like no other, featuring participants riding ride-on lawnmowers along an 86km route through the scenic Molesworth Station, all the way to Hanmer Springs. Both participants and spectators able to enjoy a fun-filled day at the various pitstops along the way. While it may sound like light-hearted fun, the event is no easy feat. With a challenging route and the constant risk of breakdowns, it’s an adventure for a great cause.

Why is Absolute Energy Participating?

We are proud to be taking part in this event to raise funds for the Cancer Society Nelson Tasman and Nelson Tasman Hospice. These organisations provide vital support to individuals and families in our community who are dealing with cancer and serious illness. The Cancer Society Nelson Tasman provides much-needed services to those affected by cancer, while the Nelson Tasman Hospice offers compassionate care and support to people in their final stages of life.

Our team—Troy, Duke, Cameron and support crew Lukas, and Canaan—will be hitting the road with their mowers on Saturday, 19th October. We are thrilled to take on this challenge not just for the fun of it, but because we want to make a difference. We all know someone who has been supported by these amazing charities, so it’s an honour to be a part of something that gives back to them.
